Bass Cask Disruption

Bass Cask Disruption

Below is an email we have received from Budweiser Brewing Group (BBG) address the current supply disruption for Bass Cask.

Dear Customer,

We are unfortunately experiencing disruption to our supply of Bass cask, as a result of some transportation issues which occurred between 30th March - 2nd April 2026. We had several planned collections of finished goods from the brewery which failed and
were unable to be rescheduled until 7th-10th April, leading to an out of stock situation. Since that out of stock, whilst we have been distributing Bass to customers, orders have exceeded supply. In these instances, we see inconsistent flow of stock to our route-to market customers. Whilst some orders are successful, some planned orders are shorted or not delivered. This means some customers will show as having stock available when others are still out of stock. We hope to reduce these instances over the next two weeks as we continue to boost stock levels.

We expect stock levels to return to normal in two weeks. We appreciate the disruption this has caused and apologise for the inconvenience.
